This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Gala & Ceremony of the Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award, which will honor Asian Americans from California to New York, representing a variety of Asian ethnic backgrounds, including Chinese, Filipino, Korean, Japanese, Indian and Pakistani etc. It continues to be the only forum to highlight the achievements of Asian Americans across the United States. The award recipients represent a microcosm of the elite Asian American business owners, professionals and corporate executives who are engaged in a wide range of business interests. The award committee identifies and selects individuals with outstanding leadership, vision and accomplishments who have built a successful business or who have distinguished themselves in their community.
This Outstanding 50 Award will cumulatively have honored more than 450 successful Asian American women and men from multiple ethnic backgrounds, representing over 30 industries and professions. "The award not only honors individuals, but serves to encourage the development of talent and leadership of Asian Americans," said John Wang, president of AABDC.
