Lijie Zhu - Managing Director

Lijie Zhu is the managing director of Dragon Gate Investment Partners, founder of CorpOnline and CorpStarter, a member of Forbes Finance Council, a column writer for Tsinghua Financial Review, and the overseas producer of the CCTV documentary series 100-Year Finance in China. She was also the Chairwoman for the Alliance of American Chambers of Commerce, Vice Director of The Council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, a board member of Asian Financial Society. Ms. Zhu has more than 10 years' experience in the financial and media industry in America, Europe and Asia. She worked as the Chief Financial Officer for a US listed Chinese company, a credit analyst for Rogge Global Partners in London, and a financial analyst for Aufhauser Securities in New York. Ms. Zhu earned a MBA and a MS degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and a BA degree in Journalism and a Law Degree from Lanzhou University in China. Lijie Zhu was honored as one of the 50 Outstanding Asian Americans in Business 2011 by the Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC).


Xuan Luo, CFA - Finance Director

Xuan Luo is the finance director of Dragon Gate Investment Partners. She specializes in selecting and managing portfolio companies. With years of experience in the cross-border market between the United States and China, Ms. Luo obtained deep understanding of both primary and secondary markets. She is a CFA Charter holder with solid financial knowledge and strong background in FinTech and TMT. She helped dozens of early-stage high-growth companies resolve their developing and financing problems. She also held positions at Funsing Technology, China Mining United Fund and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Ms. Luo received a Master of Science degree in Analytical Finance from Lehigh University, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from China University of Geosciences.


Liang Li - Marketing Director

Liang Li is the marketing director of Dragon Gate Investment Partners, in charge of internal and external communications. With Dragon Gate’s marketing wing since 2012, Mr. Li has helped to establish tangible value and company credibility in the investment community across the U.S. and China, and built connections with over a thousand of institutions and comparably numerous individual investors. Previously, he worked with China Construction Bank, and was responsible for marketing and customer management. Mr. Li graduated from Fordham University Gabelli School of Business with a M.S. degree in Business Enterprise and obtained his B.A. degree in English from Shanxi University of Finance and Economics.


Fred Hong - Investor Relations Director

Fred Hong is the investor relations director at Dragon Gate Investment Partners, providing sensible and cost-effective investor relations and media relations solutions for U.S. listed Chinese firms and Chinese companies in general. Fred is also a newspaper columnist in China’s renowned Nanfang Media Group, writing frequently on U.S.-China economic and financial issues. Prior to join DGIP, Fred was a business reporter with Nanfang Media Group in Guangzhou, China. He earned his master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from New York University. He graduated with honors from China’s Wuhan University with bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Economy.

Liang Yang - Public Relations Officer

Liang Yang is responsible for activities and dissemination of written reports and news of Dragon Gate while maintenance the media image of Dragon Gate in China. She received her Bachelor of Mass Communication from Guizhou University for Nationalities. She worked in the planning department of Superb Summit International Timber Company Limited for news release and has a very good relationship with many Chinese media including traditional press and online media such as sina.com. She also worked in the Hunan Daily and Sheraton Sanya Hotel.

Jinghui Zhang - Legal Counsel

Jinghui Zhang is a certified attorney in China, specialized in corporate law and securities law. He has served as the lead attorney in the largest law firms in Beijing. He also has intensive experience as legal consultant and provided advisors to China Zhong Qing Ka Investment Managing Company, Beijing International Corporation, Beijing Yanshan Petroleum/Chemical Company, China Iron Northern Company and Hefei Construction Company during the past decade.

Seth Scott - Professional Writer

Seth Scott is the editor for the Lamb of Wall Street. He wrote the book and dialogue for the PC based zombie adventure game “Dust Eaters”.  In addition to games, he writes on finance and environmental issues. His work has appeared on prominent websites such as GreenBiz and AskMen. He also publishes regularly in trade magazines such as Global Entrepreneur and World Port Development, including translations into Chinese and Romanian. He is currently completing the book Climate Forward, a non-fiction study on the impact of climate change on financial markets, municipal bonds, insurance, and banking. He has presented at domestic and international conferences in Scotland, Amsterdam, and Hungary for groups such as the New York Society of Security Analysts and Port Finance and Investments. In 2010 he served on the Communications Committee of the Association for Corporate Growth.
