Robert Schechter MBA - Managing Director

Robert Schechter has provided public and investor relations services to NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ corporations for 30 years and has helped to raise over $800 million for small cap companies. Robert’s early career was in consumer product management for Standard Brands, Inc. and Hanes Corporation; responsibilities included the national roll out of a new food brand. He has also served on the Boards of corporations and not-for-profit organizations. He earned an MBA in Marketing from the University of Connecticut.

Lijie Zhu MBA - Managing Director

Lijie Zhu has more than 10 years experience in the financial and media industry in America, Europe and Asia. In the past of her career, she had a broad experience working as the Chief Financial Officer for a US listed Chinese company, a credit analyst for Rogge Global Partners in London, and a financial analyst for Aufhauser Securities in New York. She also worked as a business reporter for several Chinese media including China Center Television (CCTV) and China News Agency. Currently, she leads a Career Program Friday Career Coffee™ for the New York Society of Securities Analysts (NYSSA). She also serves on the Board of the Asian Financial Society. She graduated with a MBA and a MS degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and a BA degree in Journalism and a Law Degree from Lanzhou University in China. Lijie Zhu was recognized as one of the 50 Outstanding Asian Americans in Business 2011 by the Asian American Business Development Center.

Jerry Zhu - Director of Technology

Jerry Zhu is responsible for translating business requirements into an approach that is executable and delivers on business goals. He worked at Morgan Stanley as a Sr. software developer on the Morgan Stanley Smith Barney financial advisor desktop application project.  He has strong skill sets of C#, Asp.Net, WPF, WCF and years of experience working in top investment banks. He received M.S. in Applied Statistics and M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Qin Jiao - Financial Analyst

Qin Jiao is a Financial Analyst of Dragon Gate Investment partners, working on industry analysis and investment modeling. He graduated from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Stevens Institute of Technology, earned Bachelor Degree of Financial Engineering, LL.B and Master Degree of FE. Qin Jiao was an Assistant Analyst in Xingye Securities before came to DGIP. His work field was TMT and education industry in China and assisted in finishing several research papers.

Ran Yin - Investment Banking Analyst

Ran Yin specializes in investment banking analysis focusing on IPO, M&A and LBO. Previously she worked as an investment banking summer analyst at UBS Beijing. She had experiences in pitch book and prospectus preparation, corporate valuation and industry due diligence. She also interned as quantitative analyst in equity research at China Universal Asset Management Company. And she had credit risk and valuation analyst internship experiences. She earned Bachelor’s degree of Applied Mathematics at Wuhan University. In 2011 she graduated from University of Michigan with Master of Science in Financial Engineering.

Zhouman Liao (Camille Liao) - Business Strategy Analyst

Zhouman Liao graduated from Simon Graduate School of business at University of Rochester, and earned Master Degree of Science in Business Administration concentrating in Finance. Zhouman Liao was a Strategy Analyst in Lafarge ShuiOn Cement in Beijing. Miss Liao was responsible for analysis of cement industry and major competitors. She built up thirteen profiles for major competitors, including financial, strategic competitiveness, cost structure and suggestion of mergers and acquisitions, all of which became main references for investment committee.

Tiantian Wan (Tina Wan) - Market Research Analyst

Tiantian Wan is the Market Research Analyst for Dragon Gate Investment Partners. During her past experience at Deloitte & Touche, she assisted the IPO process for the Agricultural Bank of China. She also interned at Bank of Communication New York Office. She published her research on SCAP Chinese National Core Economic Publication in 2009. During the same year, she also assisted the Campaign program of the Democratic Party of the Hawaii Governor Election. Tiantian graduated from Fordham University with a BS in Accounting.

Chennan Liu - Publication Specialist

Chennan Liu is a publication specialist of Dragon Gate Investment Partners, working on media analysis and relations. She gets her master degree of World Literature in Capital Normal University. Now she is the graduate candidate in Fordham University to pursue her second master degree of public communication. She was the assistant for the CFO in Time Warner China Film HG Corporation and the secretary for the vice director in China Enterprise Directors Association. Moreover, she was an excellent editor in China Security magazine, which is an English magazine with the head quarter in Washington D.C. She publishes articles and good at hosting.

Stephen Chang - Project Partner

Stephen Chang was born and raised in Taiwan, attended University of Chinese Culture (in Taipei), graduate with a BS degree in Industrial Technology. After moving to the U.S., Mr. Chang continued his education and earned a MFA degree in Visual Communications from University of Kansas in 1993. Mr. Chang’s Advertising design for “Keystone 8560” notebook PC was published in the Marketing textbook; Consumer Behavior-Building Marketing Strategy ( McGraw-Hill) as an example for effectively using Preference Strategy.
